Trustees

State laws relating to religious corporations, as a rule, require that there be a specific body which holds legal title to the property of the church and is responsible for its financial affairs. The trustees are appointed by the Pastor and hold in trust, all belonging to the church and the corporation, and shall take all necessary measures for its protection, management, and up-keep. The trustees shall receive all offerings of the church, count all monies and arrange for deposit of the same in a bank designated by them, to the credit of the respective accounts of the Second Baptist Church of Baldwin
